　　Starbucks plans to open at least 100 stores a year in China, aiming to build on early successes in a market the coffee chain expects will eventually rival its domestic US market in scale.

　　自1999年以来，该公司已在中国开设了约200家店面，并计划加快在北京、上海、广州等大城市以及发展迅速的中国内陆地区的`投资。

　　The company has opened about 200 stores in China since 1999 and plans to accelerate its investment both in big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and in China’s fast-developing hinterland.

　　星巴克还在收紧其对中国特许经营店的控制权。该公司昨日表示，它已完成一项收购，收购对象是一家在北京和天津经营62家星巴克咖啡店的合作公司的控股股东。

　　Starbucks is also tightening control over its China franchise. It said yesterday it had bought out the controlling shareholders in the company that operates 62 outlets in Beijing and Tianjin.
